After growing up playing guitar in Raleigh, NC, I went to the University of Miami (in Florida) to study Jazz Guitar and Music Engineering. I received my B.S. in Music Engineering, with a focus on Electrical Engineering, and got to play with some amazing musicians.

My band Mint Trip formed in school and signed a record contract, moving out to LA together and settling in North Hollywood. That is where I found my love for teaching music. After a few technical audio internships, I decided to return to my roots of music and tutoring and I have not looked back.
